I have been meaning to visit Leong's Legend as they are infamous for their xiao long bao and also to try out how Taiwanese cuisine may differ. Before entering the restaurant, you knock on the door, the restaurant is pretty dark inside, the lady led us to the side where there was a long queue, pretty odd as we were queuing inside the restaurant but by the back of the restaurant along the stairs. They told us we couldn't be seated until all parties were here, we were just waiting for 1 more person and it wasn't too long until we were called to be seated.
Turnip croquette, very oily, as you can see it has soaked up the white paper beneath.
Nice subtle taste, extra crispy outside
Flavoursome minced pork noodle soup - £5.50
Supreme crab meat xiao long bao - £6.50
Their xiao long bao was delicious, the skin is delicate and it collapses very easily once in your mouth. Filled with juicy sauce, be careful if you eat this as it can splatter everywhere, do not bit it in half either and the juice will pour out!
I think overall, it was a nice place to eat but, not it may not be so delicious as writing this review I can hardly remember what the noodles taste like.. it's average. I will def have to go back again and try the dim sum. Also the waitress was pretty rude, we had just about finished our meal and she had already given us the bill, probably as there was a queue but, we felt hurried out of the restaurant. It is very noisy in there as it is pretty packed but, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you're looking to eat, chill and relax with your friends.

Turnip coquettes were pretty delicious from here, I think I could eat all three to myself. From what I remember though, the service was pretty bad..trying to take our plates away before asking us if we were finished when we clearly weren't!
