My spring shopping haul ♥

Been losing track of blogging recently as I have a lot on my plate. Been going to interviews non stop past month and recently it has been quiet again. Been really down, stressed and frustrated recently... I am so fed up with people and companies wasting my money and time that I will never get back. I cannot say enough how much I hate it when someone says they'll get back to me via email etc and then I don't hear from them, I can easily chase them up as per usual but, I have gotten to a point if a company is hiring for someone to be organised and cannot act this skill upon them, then why would I want to work for them? All I ask for is an email back yes or no and feedback to improve myself. So apart from that, I just feel like I am in a black hole sometimes, I do not know where my future is going to turn out and I am so scared... but, I am still trying nether less.
I have been to a few nice places recently and I will post them up later but, I wanted to show everyone some things I bought recently that I am in love with.

Ray Bans fold up glasses, it was any 2 pairs for 200, I got my bro the same pair but in black. I have been looking for a pair like my bf has that he got nearly 2 years ago and only recently saw these.. And in fact his lenses are slightly bigger than mine but I think this is nice as my face is smaller. Nice and perfect to fit in your handbag and to take on holiday.

My new black Prada bag, at first I was not so keen on it as it reminded me of the Longchamp bag but as I tried it on I realised it has a strap which definitely differentiated the brands. I'm not a big fan of Longchamp bags but really liked the size and need a smart/casual bag. I actually remember when I first bought my mum a Longchamp bag around 2006 xmas and hardly anyone carried those bags. These days, I can guarantee I will see more than 10 people carrying Longchamp bags on Oxford Street.

Got free samples and also a free size bottle, I have been very eager to try Origins so a + for me.
They had a trade in a bottle day last week Saturday and I woke up earlier just before work just to grab one before it's all gone. Will do a review later on once I try it out.

Love this blouse, its slightly sheer but I absolutely love the crochet detail yet look very feminine at the same time. I bought this from H&M

You can also wear with a pair of jeans if you want to go for a more casual look.

For upcoming summer I love the way sheer material can give you instant boost to your dress code. I love these two tops as they are light and very easy to wear giving you a summer feel. Both from F21.

Top left skirt is a new skirt from the conscious collection. This skirt is amazing and shows off all your curves, I must need to wear spandex for these! Love the colour as it's a nice pastel green which is in trend at the moment.

Top right paper bag shorts for all year round, which can also be worn in autumn from H&M also.

Bottom Right high waisted floral shorts. Mega cute shorts which can be paired with a vest top or boob tube and some killer hills. Even if your not brave to wear these bare legged, a pair of tights with a blazer would smarten it up. I love the floral colours all together as the green and coral stand out. Floral is also def in trend at the moment... even so, I love how you can dress the shorts up or go casual.

What do you guys think of my purchases..? I think I have bought more but these are my favs! xxx

Gaucho Restaurant Review ♥

Back in February me and my family went to the Gaucho restaurant in Charlotte Street for my mothers birthday. Even though we actually already went Korean the week before, it was my dad who wanted to take my mother out. I just invited myself and suggested Gaucho since I've always wanted to go there, for nearly over 2 years actually.

After hearing a lot of good reviews from people I know, I convinced my mum to go. In the end my dad was paying anyway and he was going to take her to an Italian restaurant.... I don't think my mum is a big fan of Italian but, she there is no denying that she likes her steak.

The restaurant was quite dark inside so could not take any pictures of the decor inside. Gutted I didn't use my bf's SLR instead as he said he'd bring it down for me >_<

Before you place your order, the waiter will show you the different parts of the meat and what it has been marinated in.

Shrimp Causita - Green Olives, egg, aji Amarillo potatoes, palm avocado, and red pepper mayonaise £9.95

Salmon Ceviche - Cured in citrus juices, avocado, palm hearts, and roasted pepper sauce £9.95

Octopus Tiradito - Fresh tomato passata, black olives, wild rocket leaves and olive oil £12.95

Out of the starters I liked them all so I didn't give them individual rating. They were all cooked with perfection but, the only thing I'd say is the portion was extremely small.

For the mains we opted in the Chorizo sampler.
Chorizo, Ancho, Lomo and Cuadril (1200g) £89.95

I have to say my favourite was the Ancho, it was a fillet steak and it tasted so tender and succulent, I recommend anyone get the fillet steak. Sitting with my brothers by the time I was to try this one, there was no more left and only actually got a bite. The sampler dish was cooked medium/rare recommended by the waiter. My mum does not eat rare and she fears the thought of bacteria still in the meat. The meat was slightly over cooked... I think it needed to be a bit rarer.

Tira de ancho - Spiral cut slow grilled with chimichurri (500g) £31.95

This was very nice, very succulent and cooked to perfection. This was cooked rare and I'd recommend rare to people who go because when chefs usually cook they will actually cook slightly over what you say. Even though this was rare, there was no blood gorging out to be grossed out. This was my favourite!

For one of our sides we got sweetcorn, this tasted very fresh. The corn was mashed and had a fragrant smell to the corn. This is recommended to try.

Me and my brothers, look at the fancy walls covered in calf fur.

Overall the food was excellent and I'd definitely go back and probably try a different Gaucho restaurant to compare the differences. Although it's Argentinian steak, it is a expensive meal so be prepared to splurge especially if your are drinking alcohol. The atmosphere was nice, the walls and some chairs were  decorated with calf hair which gave a nice touch of the restaurants cuisine. Staff were good although it did drop a star as it could have been better, we had to call our waiter back for some things like asking for the dessert menu. He was very friendly and recommended us some nice dishes.

Hyper Japan Expo ♥

Over the weekend I went to Hyper Japan, it was running throughout the whole weekend and it was my first time attending after always hearing my friends had been before.

So what is Hyper Japan? A Japanese cultural exhibition that takes place once a year normally during the weekend. There are food stalls, fashion stalls, gaming area, live performances, competition etc. I paid £7 for a ticket at the door, depending on what day you go there are different performances, I went on a Friday so it wasn't that busy. However, if you go on Saturday or Sunday, prepare to wait in a long dragon queue and it will be mega packed.

Was going to buy one of these but I told myself I'd come back but, flowed out of my mind after eating.

Making okonomiyaki, the guy in the glasses looks like Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean!

Okonomiyaki served with 2 tempuras for 5pounds. Tasted very nice as I love savoury food.

Takoyaki - These are Japanese Octopus dumpling balls. This was okay, could have been better, with the taste, although this picture looks very deceiving. Was still very nice since I have never tried this before. I first heard about these when I went to the Japanese festival a couple of years ago and a friend told me had the best takoyakis in Osaka. We were about to buy some at the festival but, unfortunately it sold out.

I wanted to get some of these macaroons but no way am I paying a ridiculous amount of money for a small lil thing to go into my mouth and out the other way! Boo :(

This reminded me of the time when I watched 'Bamboo Blade' the anime.

One of my friends had a stall and made us some really nice ice
desserts. There he is, in the process of making mine!

This was really nice and definitely worth it for 3.50 and I am not saying that because I know him! I nearly could not finish this and writing about this at 11pm I am actually craving some nice ice to quench my thirst. This would be delicious on a nice hot day, as it's ice, it's not as fattening as ice cream which is a plus!

Mango and strawberry flavour

Extreme cuteness, these are lil rubbers. I love the attention to detail in every piece.

Does it look like them? Get your drawing done.

Love the creativity, these are candles!

I had a great time at Hyper Japan and will probably return next year. It is definitely for people that live in the UK and don't travel to the far east much because a lot of the items are over priced or you could get them cheaper for somewhere else. However, I do understand living in London it is a expensive city but, I  love my bargains and freebies way too much. So, sadly I didn't purchase anything at Hyper Japan although, I would have loved to see some beauty stalls since Japan is crazy about their make up and skincare. Worth going to once a year to have a browse and learn more about the Japanese culture and lifestyle.
