Duck and Waffle ♥

Date of visit: October 2013

We made a booking of 2 for 10am for breakfast and I was so excited to go. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about and I was also eager to see the view in the daylight as I had already seen the view in the evening from Sushi Samba.

Upon arriving the hostess took my coat and we were sat by the window (we requested to have a good view when booking). Unfortunately it was raining so the view wasn't as nice as we'd hoped.

Food menu

Steak and eggs benedict £11 with extra sausages £3 and hash browns £3
The steak and eggs benedict were delicious, steak cooked to perfection and the combination was perfect. Another thing I remember very clearly were the taste of the hash browns. They were very crispy on the outside, infused with spring onions the smell was aromatic. To sum it up they were the best hash browns I have had in my life

Infamous Duck n Waffle £15
I ordered the duck and waffle, which at first I wasn't sure of the taste, but they all complemented each other very well. The duck was crispy on the outside and the meat was tender. I absolutely enjoyed the meal.

The price of the breakfast is dear, but everything tasted delicious so it was worth it. The portions are on a small side but, the main attraction is the view and that's what you pay for. I was comfortably full which was a good sign instead of stuffing myself to the point where I could not move. The great thing about this restaurant is it is opened 24 hours, I actually tried to go one time around 5am but they said it was closed which was so disappointing!! I would def go back and I'd recommend Duck and Waffle to anyone!
